Erased

Intersex people are among the lesser-known minorities in the world, even and especially within queer communities. Looking up "intersex" anywhere gives a 80% chance of getting results completely unrelated to the subject at hands. If intersex folks are ever mentioned, there is a high chance it's in a very superficial "intersex people exist!" way, that does not dig on any reality of being intersex. Misinformation about intersex people is rampant, and actual intersex voices are rarely ever uplifted to correct that.

Unfortunately, I cannot be publicly angry about that, because I would like to believe that most people don't mean any ill, and yelling at someone whose only crime is ignorance is kind of a dick move.

This zine is ten pages of frustrations and rage I am not allowed to express anywhere else.
